Carrollton High School senior Austin Richie was awarded the John Wesley Tanner Jr. Memorial Scholarship at the 32nd annual CHS Academic Awards program April 19 at the Joshua Mabry Center for the Arts. The scholarship, funded by the Tanner family, is presented to a student of high moral character who also is involved in community and church activities.
