Welcome Anne Anglin!
Anne Anglin recently joined the UGA Extension Carroll County office as our part time Ag Program Assistant. She is excited to be part of our program and looks forward to working with the UGA staff. Anne grew up participating in the Carroll County 4-H program showing sheep, dairy cattle and chickens. She says she was fortunate enough to also be able to participate in several of the summer camps and other activities, such as the archery team, that were offered through the UGA Extension Carroll County program. Growing up on a farm in the Carroll County area and all the 4-H activities was instrumental in her decision to choose agriculture as a career.
Anne attended the University of Georgia where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science. After graduating from college, she returned to the Carroll County area and now reside in Ranburne, AL with her spouse. She worked for two years at Bowdon Elementary School while seeking an agriculture related career. She says she comes to the position excited to begin a career in a field she is passionate about. Ann says she is extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity and she looks forward to working with the farmers in the community.
