The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Carroll County will be hosting Paul Pugliese, Agricultural and Natural Resources Agent from Bartow County, who will be discussing top food and farming myths associated with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).

The program will be on Thursday, October 4 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Program will be held at the Carroll County Ag Center located at 900 Newnan Road in Carrollton.

The program is open to anyone who wants to learn what a Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is, myths associated with them, and how GMO and non-GMO products are marketed.

If time permits, participants will also learn about food and farming myths associated with concerns about sustainability, pesticides and hormones.
