Douglasville, Georgia – Douglas County Superior Court Judge Cynthia Adams & Juvenile Court Judge Michelle Harrison will host a meet and greet on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Citizens Hall of the Douglas county Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. The event will celebrate the start of the first ever Parental Accountability Court program in Douglas County, Georgia.
The Parental Accountability Court (PAC) program is a joint effort of the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Child Support Services and Superior Court Judges to offer an alternative to incarceration and to help chronic non-payers of child support make regular payments.
The program utilizes community resources to address barriers that keep parents from meeting their support obligations.
