Charles Richard Carroll, age 76, of Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 16, 1942, son of the late Frank Thomas Carroll and the late Thelma Inez Jones Carroll. Charles served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. 

He was a retired printer with Muller Color Plate Printing Company.  Charles was an avid Nascar fan, WWF Wrestling fan,  football fan and he enjoyed his westerns. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine Pope Carroll; sons: Richard Carroll and his girlfriend, Lisa, Kenneth Carroll and his wife, Elaine, Mark Carroll; grandchildren: Brett Carroll and his wife, Kacie, Spencer Carroll and his fiance, Amber, Skylar Carroll; great granddaughter: Eisley Carroll; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers and sister: Tommy Carroll, Bobby Carroll, Lamar Carroll, Teresa Williams.  
The family will receive friends at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel, 12651 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Georgia with Reverend Alvin Honeycutt officiating. Charles will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM til the hour of the service.
