Sunshine Week 2019 is celebrated from March 10-16 to highlight the benefits of government transparency and the risks of unnecessary secrecy in government.Government transparency has long been a policy mainstay of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, which marks Sunshine Week every year by highlighting an issue where Georgia’s citizens deserve to have the light shone on government.
