Herman Ray Dean age 71, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was born March 22, 1947 in Fyffe, Alabama son of Bonnell Dean Vickery and the late J. D. Dean. Mr. Dean was a graduate of Carrollton High School and was a retired Iron Worker and member of Iron Workers Local #387.

In his spare time he enjoyed spending time fishing or Deer hunting with family or friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death his grandparents Idella and Claude Thomas. Survivors include his wife; Marie McRae Dean, daughter; Sheila Richie (Tim Dingler), son; Herman Keith Dean, brother; Robbie Dean, sisters; Syble Rogers and Anita Wilson all of Carrollton and sister; Marzell Williams (Wayne) of Bremen, grandsons; Brian Reyher and Tyler Richie.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 17, 2019 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Larry Bridgett, Rev. Doyal Shope Jr. and Rev. Roy Frashier officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Tim Dingler, Tony Langley, Mark Langley, Steve Phillips, Dexter Wilson and Ricky McGuire. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
