CARROLLTON, GA – Carrollton High School Performing Arts presents “The Voice of the Prairie,” Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Holcombe Theater of the Mabry Center for the Arts.

The John Olive play is a touching sentimental story about a middle-aged farmer, David Quinn (Eli Lucio), who becomes a reluctant radio star in the 1920s. After being discovered by a traveling radio salesman who convinces him to go on the air with his tales, Quinn begins to conjure memories of his long-ago love, Frankie (Kayla Batchelor), and their misadventures as young fugitives. 

Other members of this outstanding cast include Emma Camp, Bailey Doxey, Robert Girard, Tyler Grubbs, Jenna Haynes, Trevor Jens, Melissa Marroquin, Katelin Presley, John Robert Ray, Ben Reid and Mattie Steed.
