Richard “Rick” C. Brown, age 73 of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020.  He was born in Uniontown, PA on June 22, 1946, son of the late Frank Oris Brown and the late Elizabeth Jean Hamilton Brown.  Rick was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and he was retired as a Research Equipment Specialist for Georgia Tech.  He loved the outdoors, especially hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Robbie Brown and Phillip Brown: mother of his children; Patricia Francis Barrett Brown.

Rick is survived by his wife: Lisa Scovell-Brown; granddaughter: Sydney Brown; brothers: Frank Brown and wife Brenda, and Jimmy Brown; and sister: Virginia “Pinky” Frappeir.

Per his wishes he was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date with Inurnment at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
