More access to primary care is now available as Ann-Gelle Carter, MD, brings her skills as a family physician to Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton.
This expansion allows the practice to continue providing the quality of care that meets the needs of patients in west Georgia. Dr. Carter specializes in family medicine, which means she treats patients of all ages — from infants to adults.
Dr. Carter is board-certified in family medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed a residency in family medicine at the Kaweah Delta Health Care District in Visalia, California.
Dr. Carter also holds a master’s in medical sciences from Indiana University in Bloomington and a bachelor’s in biology from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Carter joins Sonya Chelliah, MD, Federick Makori, MD, Emily Rooks, MD, Shawna Berg, NP-C, and Holly Jackson, NP-C, at Tanner Primary Care of Carrollton.
