State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited Carrollton Upper Elementary School last week. His goal as State School Superintendent is to make sure students are ready to learn, ready to live, and ready to lead. During his visit, he took time to gather feedback from students, teachers, and other stakeholders to learn what is going well, what changes can be made, and how the Georgia Department of Education can be of service to Carrollton City Schools. Superintendent Woods also distributed copies of the Consitution of the United States to all fourth grade students and visited with sixth grade student ambassadors to discuss leadership in the school.
