Due to the untimely death of Board of Education member Clayton Kierbow who represented District 4 since 2017, the Carroll County Board of Education will appoint an interim member to represent District 4 until the current term ends on December 31, 2024.
Individuals who reside in District 4 and wish to be considered for this appointment should:
- Review the qualifications and restrictions.
- Submit a letter of interest to Superintendent Scott Cowart by Monday, October 9, 2023. This letter should include:
- Statement of interest
- List of professional experience
- List of references including names and addresses
- Be willing to address the Board of Education at the Work Session on Monday, October 16, 2023 to share your interest in serving as a member of the Carroll County Board of Education
