The Carrollton Jazz Orchestra will celebrate the season with its Spring Jazz Concert, March 28, at the Carrollton Center for the Arts.
“Birdland and Channel One Suite are just two of the big band classics we’ll perform,” said CJO Music Leader Terry Lowry. “Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones and Duke Ellington all feature prominently in our repertoire, so there’s a good chance the audience will hear old favorites and fall in love with some new tunes, too.”
The CJO’s Spring Jazz Concert presents a playlist of tunes each year that help audiences prepare for the return of warmer weather.
Tickets for the performance are $15 for adults, $10 for youth and are on sale at the center’s box office or online at carrolltonarts.com.
