Carrollton, GA— Carroll Electric Membership Cooperative (EMC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Taylor Key to Community Relations Manager, effective immediately.
Key has been a dedicated employee of Carroll EMC for more than 15 years, building a career marked by leadership, service and a deep commitment to the co-op’s Members and the communities it serves. Since joining as a student employee in 2011, she has steadily advanced through positions of increasing responsibility including Accounting Specialist, Community Relations Specialist and most recently, Community Relations Supervisor.
Throughout her career, Key has demonstrated exceptional leadership in community engagement, educational outreach, employee involvement initiatives and cooperative advocacy. She has also elevated the Carroll EMC Foundation and greatly expanded the functionality and usage of the Robert D. Tisinger Community Center. Her passion for serving others and strengthening relationships has made a lasting impact.
Key’s dedication to professional growth is reflected in her educational achievements and leadership development. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of West Georgia. She also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Community Development. In addition, Key has successfully completed several distinguished leadership development programs including Georgia EMC’s Co-op’s Lead, the University of Georgia Management Development Program, and Community Heart & Soul training.
As Community Relations Manager, Key will continue leading efforts to strengthen Member engagement, community partnerships, educational programs and charitable initiatives across our service area.
