Hazel Driver Muse, age 96 of Carrollton, passed away March 6, 2018. She was born December 24, 1921 in Carroll County, Georgia, daughter of the late Arthur Driver and Eunice Morgan Driver.
She worked at Lawler Hosiery Mill as a knitter for more than 32 years and was a member of Abilene Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Muse; sons, John ”Sherron” Muse, and Gary Muse; brothers, Dumah Driver and Roy Driver; and a sister, Jean Driver Crawford.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James “Steve” Muse (Jane B.) of Carrollton; daughters-in-law, Charlotte Muse of Carrollton and Jane Robinson of Bremen; brother, Morgan Driver (Denise) of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Martin and Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Mike Harris and Rev. John Lemmings officiating.
Interment will follow in Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ricky Muse, Jeff Muse, Dan Henderson, Bryan Muse, Tony Daniel, Dylan Pope, Jacob Muse, Levi Henderson, Tyler Muse, Blake Muse, and Conner Muse.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
