Acting on a tip from a close source and utilizing the Georgia Open Records Act (O.C.G.A.§50-18- 70), StarNews obtained information, photographs, and videos from Carroll County government and state revealing a long time ongoing large environmental spill in Carroll County discovered this past April by an employee of the Carroll County Department of Environmental Health (CCDEH). Records show that the Georgia EPD was repeatedly informed of the spill (story continued in October print edition on ISSUU, see home page)
