Janice K. Bramble, 65, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was born to the late Mr. James McLain and Kathleen Farmer McLain in Knoxville, TN, on June 16, 1958.

Janice was a loving mother and Mamaw. She doted on her grandchildren and spent as much time as she could with them. Janice earned her master’s degree in computer science at Coleman College and worked in the accounting department at the University of West Georgia. She enjoyed playing cards, painting, singing and loved shooting guns.

She was a Christian leader throughout her life and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. In her earlier years, Janice was also a member of One Voice Choir with Lilburn Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving sons, David and Candis Bramble and Michael and Chelsea Bramble; grandchildren, Annabelle, Isaac, Bailey, Theodore and Zula Bramble; sisters, Karen and Gary Marshall and Leslie Curtis; and her niece and nephew, Kary and Gary Aaron.

Funeral Services will be held to honor and celebrate Janice’s life on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the Rocky Mount Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Riddle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Martin and Hightower Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM
