For sixteen years, Jimmie Lou lovingly cared for her husband and, with equal devotion, tended to both of her daughters during their extended illnesses. She was honored as “Caregiver of the Year” by the Pilot Club of Haralson County.

Over the years, her yard became a true showplace, cultivated by her own hands and guided by her keen sense of design. It earned the designation of a “Beauty Spot.”

As an active and faithful member of the Waco Church of Christ, she was appreciated for her good works and her delicious cooking, which she so often shared with countless people.

Special thanks to four ladies who cared for Jimmie Lou as if she were their own family – Regina Attison, Briana Attison, Amber Cox, and Michelle Knight. The family also expresses appreciation to the compassionate nurses from Tanner Hospice.
