Gwendolyn Hall Bryant, age 69, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on April 3, 2026. She was born on May 25, 1956, in Newnan, Georgia, the daughter of the late Willis Carroll Hall and Elizabeth Moore Hall.
Gwen was a member of Roopville Road Baptist Church, where her kindness, gentle spirit, and love for the Lord brought her great peace and comfort.
After graduating from Central High School, Gwen met and later married the love of her life, Raymond Cullen Bryant, in 1978. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and quiet beauty. Their years were filled with travel and time spent in their cherished mountain home in North Carolina, a place that reflected Gwen’s deep appreciation for nature. Throughout their marriage, she faithfully stood beside her husband, traveling wherever his work led them.
While her journey took her many places, Gwen’s most treasured role was that of a stay-at-home mother. She poured her heart into raising her daughter, creating a home filled with warmth, comfort, and unconditional love. In later years, she returned to her hometown of Carrollton, where she once again planted her roots.
Gwen was a remarkable woman, a loving mother, grandmother, cherished sister, and deeply loved aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Her life was defined by love, especially the deep and unwavering love she had for her daughter, her grandsons, and her entire family. Her greatest joy was being “Gigi” to her grandsons, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She found beauty in life’s simple pleasures, especially in all things that grow and bloom. Whether tending to her garden, admiring flowers, or nurturing the world around her, Gwen found peace in nature’s quiet miracles. She had a special gift for bringing life to everything she touched, and that same nurturing spirit extended to the people she loved.
Gwen loved deeply, gave generously, and lived with a full and open heart. Her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met, and her legacy will continue to grow, just like the gardens she so lovingly cared for.
Though she will be deeply missed, her love remains ever-present in the lives of those who knew her. In every blooming flower, in every shared memory, and in every act of kindness, her spirit lives on. She will forever be remembered, forever loved, and forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brianna and Micah Evans; her beloved grandsons, Andrew and Deacon Evans; her siblings, Debra Walker (Tony), Bert Hall (Cindy), Teresa Justice (Chris), and Melissa Buchanan (Mark); and a host of nieces and nephews: Chris Hall (Erin), Jason Hall (Sarah), Jessica Bram (Ben), Laura Phillips (Ryan), Luke Walker (Rachel), Brittany Eason (Garrett), Brandon Justice (Anna), Jake Buchanan (Baylee), Emily Thomas (Griffin), Lauren Underwood (Wyatt), and Brayleigh Justice.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Garrett Eason.
Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens, with Chris Hall, Jason Hall, Grant Hall, Luke Walker, Brandon Justice, and Jake Buchanan serving as pallbearers.
