The Carrollton Kiwanis Club is currently accepting applications for contestants for the Music Showcase that will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Carrollton Center for the Arts. Thanks to a generous grant from the Carroll EMC Roundup program and other sponsors, the Kiwanis Club offers $ 1,500 in scholarships to high school students who compete in the juried music competiton. Applications may be downloaded from the website Carrolltonkiwanisclub.org and must be received by Friday, February 2. The first place winner of the local Carrollton Showcase is eligible to advance to the State Finals to be held in Leesburg, Georgia on April 28, 2018 where $ 15,000 in scholarships are awarded
