Louise Moore Eady, age 89, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. She was born February 11, 1934, in Randolph County, Alabama, the daughter of the late J.W. “Bill” Moore and the late Ina Leonna Gore Moore.

Mrs. Louise graduated from Roopville High School and went on to work at both Sewell Manufacturing and Veal Grocery. Later in life, she worked as a caretaker, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend to so many. She enjoyed gardening in her vegetable and flower gardens in her spare time. Mrs. Louise was a lifelong member of Veal Baptist Church and loved her community of Veal. She will be genuinely missed by all those who knew and loved her.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Lyndall Eady; daughter, Kathy Eady DeLoach; brothers, James Winford Moore, Major Moore, and Buck Moore; and sisters, Lola Payne and Essie Brand.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons & daughters-in-law, Tim & Brenda Eady and David & Faye Eady; sister, Christine Ivey; grandchildren, Tyler Eady, Lyndi Eady Teague, Jake DeLoach, and Cody DeLoach; great-grandchildren, Maddie Lucy Eady, Paisley Eady, and Knox Teague; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM from Veal Baptist Church, with Rev. Ralph Caldwell and Rev. Wesley Boatman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.

Interment will follow in Veal Community Cemetery, with Dr. Stephen Peeples officiating. The following gentlemen are serving as pallbearers, Tyler Eady, Mathew Teague, Jake DeLoach, Cody DeLoach, Scott McLeod, and Brian McLeod. Luke Stallings, Duane Marlow, Darry Payton, and Kenneth Marlow will be seated as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Veal Baptist Church or the Veal Community Cemetery. Contributions may be mailed to 187 Hopewell Road, Roopville, Georgia 30170.
