David Ronald Simpson, age 70 of Whitesburg, passed away July 09, 2019. He was born July 21, 1948 in Fulton County, Georgia, son of the late William Albert Simpson and Myrtle Dale Peace Simpson.
He worked more than 40 years in the trucking business as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth “Beth” Hansard Simpson.
He is survived by his daughter, Regina Musslewhite of Whitesburg; and six grandchildren.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, his body will be cremated and no service is planned at this time.
