John Randolph Holdren, age 72 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence.  He was born November 1, 1945 in Killarney Holler, West Virginia, the son of the late Johh Lawrence Holdren and the late Ethel Irene Gore Holdren.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the United States Marine Corp and was a musician by trade.

Survivors include his daughter, Laura Holdren of Carrollton, Georgia; sons: John Waylon Holdren of Lake Wells, Florida, Kevin Holdren of Inglis, Florida, Bob Brecheen of Florida, Tammy Vaugh of Washington, Lee Brecheen of Homosassa, Florida and Joshua Dunham of Florida; sister, Charlotte McKinney of Beckley, West Virginia; brother, David Holdren of Beckley, West Virginia, Ray Austin of Beckley, West Virginia, Alan Austin of Niota, Tennessee, sister, Carolyn Austin of Homosassa, Florida; grandchildren: Courtney Brooke, Cammie Holdren, John Holdren, Jr., Cheyenne Monk, Noviline Bowerson, and Chloe Holdren; and great grandchildren: Kinley Skyy, Asher King, and Athena Rose.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Carrollton City Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Boykin officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 12:00 until 1:30 PM.
