Three Carroll County students earned top honors at the recent Art and Music Showcase, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Carrollton. Emely
Zuniga, a senior at Mount Zion High School, earned Best in Show and a $500 scholarship for her artwork, “Cat Torn Apart”. Morgan Collins won first place and a $400 scholarship for her piece entitled, “Hard Edges”. Collins is a senior at Central High School. Abigale Sadler, a junior
at Central High School, won second place and a $300 scholarship for her artwork entitled, “Rise”.

The Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase is open to high school students in Grades 9-12 who currently attend Carroll County Schools, Carrollton City Schools, Haralson County Schools and Heard County Schools. The winners of this year’s competition will now be eligible to participate
in the District Competition in April 2018 for a chance to win additional scholarships donated by the Georgia District Kiwanis Foundation.
