Mr. Paul Daniel Wilder, age 82 of Carrollton, Georgia, died early in the morning on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

Mr. Wilder was born in Bell County, Kentucky on August 30, 1935, the son of Dan Wilder and Easter Robbins Wilder.

He worked as a Regional Manager for the Florsheim Shoe Company before moving to Carrollton where he worked at People’s Dodge until his retirement. Mr. Wilder was a loving husband, a devoted father and a caring grandfather. He was an active member of Bethany Christian Church in Carrollton, having served as an elder, elder emeritus, and a choir member. He loved to sing and often provided enthusiastic impromptu concerts for his friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Hughes Wilder; brother, James E. Wilder; son, Daniel T. Wilder and his wife Teresa; daughter, Rhonda Wilder Henderson; son, Jay Paul Wilder and his wife Dreama, all of Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth A. Torres; son-in-law, Warren Ivey of Atlanta; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Wilder.

A memorial service will be at Pine Knoll Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, tentatively set for next Friday, April 6, 2018. A time will be announced later.
