Members of the Bowdon High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter traveled to the State Leadership Conference where they competed in a variety of categories, participated in leadership workshops, and attended meetings with over 4000 Georgia FBLA members.
Seven students from Bowdon High FBLA attended the conference where they began “Building Bridges” with other students from around the state. Several other FBLA students submitted projects and competed through an online testing process.
The following members placed in the competition: Kelsey Otwell won 1st place in Virtual Business Challenge, Who’s Who in FBLA for Region 7, received a scholarship for placing 5th in the state, earned America Level in FBLA Business Achievement Awards and will advance to Nationals this summer in Baltimore, MD. Sheyah Boyd won 9th place and Abigail Smith won 10th place in Computer Game Simulation, Aliyah Boddie and Sydney Hopson received the FBLA Community Service Award.

Bowdon High School FBLA won Gold Chapter of the Year, Superior Chapter of the Year, and 6th place overall Chapter of the Year. Laura Edwards serves as the Adviser for the Bowdon High School FBLA Chapter.
