Elnora Bird Moses, age 92 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.  She was born September 30, 1925 in Hurricane, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John L. Bird and the late Myrtle Stanley Bird.

She was a homemaker and a member of the United Church of God in Rome, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Moses; sister, Virginia Banks; and brothers: Chester Bird and George Bird.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Linda “Sue” & Larry McDowell of Carrollton and Shannon & Susan Moses of South Carolina; grandchildren: Amy Moses, Kevin Moses, Russell Moses, James Johnson, Lora Neese, and Beth Born; ten great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Rick Beam officiating.  Entombment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers:  Russell Moses, Kevin Moses, Dustin Born, Joshua Neese, Jeremy Neese, and Andrew Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 PM until the hour or service.
