“Arts” is one of the Three A’s that define Carrollton City Schools and every year the holiday season offers proof. All schools have performing arts groups that have been diligently at work producing holiday shows for the community’s enjoyment and to showcase the talent of the students. All performances will be held at the Mabry Center for the Arts on the Carrollton High School campus except the CHS Madrigal Dessert, to be held at the WPA Center (the old city gym at 590 North Cliff Street in Carrollton).

All of these events are free except the CHS Madrigal Dessert, which has a $10 admission charge, paid in advance. To purchase a ticket, phone 770-834-2116.

The CES Performing Arts Club spread joy to all through the musical “Christmas in Oz” at the Mabry Center for the Arts Nov. 27. There are still several more holiday productions to be held before the school system’s holiday break.
