Susan Wade Denney, age 52 of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Newnan, passed away December 15, 2018. She was born December 18, 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia, daughter of the late Paul Wade and Deloriouse Morris Wade.

She was a Newnan High School graduate and received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at The University of West Georgia. She worked many years as the Strategic Planning Director in Child Protective Services and finished her career with Care Solutions Inc.

She was involved with Girl Scouts (as a member and a troop mom), she was the best band mom earning the nickname “Momma Denney”, and was active with the Cross Roads Church youth ministry, Xtreme.

She is preceded in death by both her parents,Paul and Deloriouse, and her brothers, Richard Wade and Douglas Wade.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Russell Denney of Flower Mound, TX; her daughters, Nicole Denney and Ashley Denney both of Flower Mound, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie and Janice Wade of Dadeville, TX; four nieces and eight nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Jerry Denney officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
