Luella “Ruth” Malone, age 79 of Carrollton, passed away January 13, 2019. She was born February 19, 1939 in Deland, Florida, daughter of the late Henry Albert Erion and Burdine Jones Erion.
She and her late husband, Willis Malone Jr., owned and operated Malone One Hour Cleaners for more than 30 years.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Erion.
She is survived by her children, Donna Toole (Ginger Goodwin) of Carrollton, Deen Holcomb (Rick) of Kennesaw, and David Toole of Charlotte, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren, Channa Cole (Dave), Zeb Holcomb, Jamie Williams, John Williams, Erion Holcomb, Jessica Toole, Tyler Holcomb, DC Davis (Rusty), J.D. Toole, Jaxson Toole, and Jayden Toole; thirteen great grandchildren; and two nieces, Jennifer Elliott and Joanna Appel.
The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Inurnment will be conducted Monday, January 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
