Andy Smith gained his wings surrounded by family on February 2, 2019. He was born on February 12, 1967 to the late Jeffrey Smith and the late Nell Maddox Buchanan.

He attended Carrollton High School and retired from Southwire Company. He was an active member of Mt. Carmel Church in Carrollton, Georgia. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Shawn Wilbanks; grandparents, Ray and Martha Bilbo, and Olivia King.

Andy is survived by his loving wife, Tina Langley Smith, son, Ryan, and daughter, Arianna Smith all of Carrollton; nephews, Brandon Wilbanks, Avery Banister, and Jacob Williamson; aunts, Carolann Walker and Leigh Brown; his fur babies, Rocky, George, Trixie, and Rooby; many cousins, The Langley Family, Mt. Carmel Church Family and Southwire Family.

Funeral service for Andy will be Thursday, February 07, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home.  Rev. Jesse Henry will officiate. Pallbearers will be Charlie Buchanan, Austin Moore, Rodney Jackson, Freddie Faulkner, Tony Hulsey, Arthur Holland, T.J. Daniel, Josh Recupido, Jimmy Brown and Wade Janney. 

In keeping with the family’s wishes his body will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 06, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martin & Hightower Funeral Home.
