Betty W. Morrow, age 82 of Carrollton, passed away February 21, 2019. She was born May 19, 1936 in Carrollton, Georgia, daughter of the late Herschel Williamson and Eunice Laster Williamson.
She was a retired secretary having worked for the Carrollton Animal Hospital, Southwire, and Morrow Trucking Company. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a Roopville High School graduate, where she played on the State Championship basketball team.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Michael Morrow; sister, Jeanette Henson; and brother, Billy Williamson.
She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Morrow of Carrollton; her children, Michael Lee Johnson (Tammy) of Rogers, Arkansas, Vicki Weathington (Danny) of Villa Rica, Torri Easterwood, of Carrollton, Wendell Morrow of Douglasville, and Pat Lee (Jerry) of Woodland, Alabama; twelve grandchildren, and twenty-six great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Shane Roberson and Rev. John Lemmings officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jerry Lee, Jamie Wilkerson, Richard Wortham, Harry McCord, Jesse Weathington, and Wendell Morrow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
