Donald Brasseal “Don” Bonner, age 76 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019. He was born June 05, 1943 in Carroll County, son of the late J.P. Bonner and Lula Faye Brasseal Bonner.
He worked as a truck driver for more than 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Brycher Strickland Bonner; daughter, Brenda Duke; son, Charlie Strickland; and brothers, Gerald Bonner, Gene Bonner, and Ronald Bonner.
He is survived by his children, David Ray Bonner of Douglasville, Janice Burns (L.A.) of Villa Rica, and Claude Strickland (Irmgard) of Villa Rica; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Martin and Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. J.W. Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery on Glenloch Road with Tony Duke, Todd Duke, Tyson Duke, Justin Duke, Nike Duke, Mario Swanson, Nick Gustafson, and Ray Eberle serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
