Hugh Dillard Leaptrot, age 89 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, August 03, 2019. He was born May 05, 1930 in Fulton County, Georgia, son of the late Amanda Cole Kitchens.
He proudly served in the United States Army and United States Air Force with a combined total of 22 years of service. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 39 years and later work as a truck driver.
In addition to his mom, he is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Curtis Leaptrot; and five sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Elaine Andrew Leaptrot of Carrollton. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Chris Jiles officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Donald Phillips, Ken Gore, Henry Gore, and Joey McCullers serving as pallbearers. The United States Air Force Honor Guard will perform military honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 06, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
