Rudene Gray Walls Cook, age 89 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, September 06, 2019. She was born June 21, 1930, in Carroll County, daughter to the late George Raymond Gray and Geneva Mavis Brown Gray.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be dearly missed. She was a member of Cross Plains Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Irvine Walls; and her daughter, Nadine Mashburn.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron Cook of Carrollton; her sons, Tony and Beth Walls of Carrollton, David and Lynn Walls of Franklin, and Dale Walls of Carrollton; step-daughters, Susan Mashburn, Debra and Wendell North, and Jan Bone all of Carrollton; sister, Rachel Lee of Waverly Hall, GA; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 09, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jason Bowman and Ms. Vicky Waites officiating. Interment will follow in Caney Head Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tyler Walls, Chet Mashburn, Josh Walls, Britt Bone, Lanny Hammett, and Buster Waites. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Mashburn, Kyle Mashburn, Tyler Mashburn, Evan Walls, Isaac Walls, Joseph Mashburn and Chase Mashburn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 08, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
