From tennis elbow to runner’s knee, sports injuries are common. One wrong move can cut your season short.

Living with the effects of a sports injury can leave a lasting impact not only on one’s ability, but also one’s health, keeping you from enjoying your life to the fullest.

If you’re ready to move past the pain and get back in the game, join Shomari Ruffin, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic, as he discusses options for a lasting solution.

Dr. Ruffin’s discussion, A Solution to Chronic Sports Injuries, will cover treatment for a range of sports-related injuries and the latest and most leading-edge treatment options available at Tanner — including surgical and non-surgical options.

The session will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. in Classrooms A and B at Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, 601 Dallas Highway. The class is free to attend. Seating is limited, and registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

Those interested in attending this free discussion can register online at tanner.org/sportsinjury.
