Robert Thomas Emory, age 77 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday morning, September 19, 2019.  He was born December 5, 1941 in Coweta County, Georgia, the son of the late Albert Emory and the late Liller Winkles Emory. 

He was a developer by trade, and was the founder of the West Georgia Flea Market in 1982.  That same year, he married the love of his life, Ms. Brenda Johnson.  He attended Destiny Worship Center while in Panama City Beach, and attended Southern Hills, here in Carrollton. 

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Brenda Johnson Emory of Carrollton; daughters:  Kim Rampy, Robin (Jack) Smith, Holli (Lee) Martin, Billi Sue (Don) Stallings, and Shannon Alexander; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Ron Boswell officiating. 

Those serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Humphries, Spencer Martin, Payton Martin, Jake Hartley, Blake Summitt, Tim Dyer, and Brittany Rampy.  Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bremen. 

The family will receive friends at  the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.
