G. Thomas “Tommy” Harris, age 68 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born January 14, 1951 in Carroll County, Georgia, the son of the late Jessie Terrell “J. T.” Harris and the late Agnes Hucheson Harris.
His work career in sales in lighting and lumber spanned over thirty-five years, having worked for Wicks Lumber and, most recently, for Winlectric. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Miller Academy Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Robinson Harris; daughter, Jessica Harris of Bremen; brother-in-love and sister-in-love, Richard and Rhonda Wright; and two grandchildren: Adaline Grace Harris and J. T. Thompson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Dennis Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with flag presentation by the American Legion Post 143.
