Emma Jean Lowery Nobles, age 81 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on November 18, 2019. She was born February 13, 1938 in Randolph County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mary Sue Grizzard Flowers.
She was retired from Carroll County School System, where she served as a bus driver, and she was a member of Eureka Baptist Church.
In her addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Nobles in May, 2019.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri & Lonnie Bailey of Carrollton; three grandchildren: Staff Sergeant Joshua Weston Holland and his wife, Carrington, Blake Lepard, and Justin Bailey and his wife, Jessica; and four great grandchildren: Brezlin, Maverick, Beckham, and Emma.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Danny Henson, Rev. Russell Shadrix, Katherine Lands, and Staff Sergeant Joshua Weston Holland officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Staff Sergeant Joshua Weston Holland, Justin Bailey, Ricky Moncus, David Adams, Randall Mitchell, and Ronny White.
Interment will follow in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Tanner Hospice at www.tanner.org.
