Flora D. “Flo-Flo” Folds, age 97 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was born July 22, 1922 in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Zach Dean and the late Fannie Hendrix Dean.
She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Folds, a sister, Melba Dean Whitman; two sisters-in-law, Mattie Lou Nolen and Abielene Rooks; and four brothers-in-law: Cliff Folds, Rhybon Folds, David P. Folds, and Lester Folds.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandi & Ben Hobbs of Carrollton, Georgia; two granddaughters, Cortney Tyson of Carrollton and Amber Word, and her husband, Jeff, of Orlando, Florida; five great grandchildren; and six great, great grandchildren.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, the body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Bryan officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
