Sara “Ludine” Cash, age 78 of Carrollton, Georgia, left this walk of life on February 4, 2020 in Bremen, Georgia. She was born to Zeddie Arnold and Daisy Brand Richardson on April 10, 1941 in Heard County Georgia.
Ludine enjoyed playing basketball in her high school years at Roopville. Although she had a fear of deep water, she loved to water ski. Enjoyed the beach, collecting sea shells and the warm sun on her face. Loved and cherished her family. She was able to travel to Alaska, Hawaii, Jamaica and many places in the US. Ludine was retired from the Carroll County Tax office after 30 years of service, and was a member of Veal Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and beloved son, Greggory Scott Attaway.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Veronica Attaway Key and Elison David Key of Daphne, Alabama; sister, Linda Whitman of Roopville, Georgia; brother, Perry Richardson of Roopville, Georgia; grandchildren: William Cole (Emily) Young of Ranburne, Alabama, Tekia Young Smith (Brandon) of Bowdon, Georgia, Nikki Whitley of Bremen, Georgia, Kasie Attaway of Villa Rica, Georgia; and Jessica Attaway. Also, surviving are her great grandchildren, who were the light of her life; Kaleb Smith, Bo and Creed Young, Carsyn and Caylor Whitley and Maybri Ward, Ava Rodriguez and she was expecting Attaleigh Painter in April; and special nieces and a nephew, who were like her children. She kept them close in her heart.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Ralph Caldwell and Rev. Wesley Bowman officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brandon Smith, Ric Christman, Bryan Gabriel, Zach Pope, Bobby Cook, Randy Richardson. Interment will follow in the Veal Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
