Ralph F. Mansfield, age 72 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020. He was born April 15, 1947 in Cedar Creek, South Carolina, son of the late B. John Mansfield and Ruth Ward Mansfield.
He proudly served in the South Carolina Army National Guard between 1966-1972. He worked for 21 years as a salesman for Kantor Bros, Inc and Village Craft Ind, New York, NY. His second career was as a self-employed owner operator for Cowan Trucking where he worked for 22 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Ann Hansard Mansfield; and granddaughter, Emily Ann Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Morrow Mansfield of Villa Rica; children, Mark F. (Valerie) Mansfield of Brunswick, Leigh Ann Wilder of Atlanta, and Clay J. (Kim) Mansfield of Bremen; sister, Maria Mansfield (Terry) Richardson of Charleston, SC; brother, Eric (Donna) Mansfield of Carrollton; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 03, 2020 at 4:00 PM from Beulahland Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Parks and Rev. Larry Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
