Robert “Michael” Stogner, age 59 of Villa Rica, Ga passed away peacefully at home Saturday, April 4, 2020. Mike was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish but most of all he was a wonderful person to be around with his contagious zest for life, humor and story-telling abilities. He was born October 3, 1960, in Carrollton, Ga to the late Robert “Bobby” Stogner and Joyce Laverne Tidwell Stogner.
He was a 1978 graduate of Mt. Zion High School and worked for Atlanta Offset in the printing business since high school until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Joyce Stogner, several Aunts and Uncles whom he was very close to and loved dearly. Mike is survived by his wife, Regina Stogner; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and David Miles of Carrollton; nephew and wife, Eli and Lindsey Miles of Bowdon, Ga; brother-in-law, Frank Jump Jr.; nieces and nephews, Leanne Jump, Matthew Jump and Sarah Ryan of Rocky Point, NC. Also a very special Family In-Love, Mrs. Emogene Wright of Bowdon, Gail and Rick Parmer of Bowdon, and Dennis and Andrea Wright of Bremen and beloved dog, Buddy Ross.
In lieu of flowers, donate to the American Cancer Society or plant a tree in Memory of Michael Stogner.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, he has been cremated and a service will be planned at a later date.
