Janice Roach Horsley, age 71 of Whitesburg, passed away April 19, 2020. She was born February 09, 1949 in Cleburne County, Alabama, daughter to the late Herschel Roach and Opaline Walker Roach. She was a floral designer for 15 plus years owning Jan’s Flower Shop and working for other local florists.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Noel B. Horsley, Jr; son, Michael D. Horsley; and a sister, Brenda Roach Worley.
She is survived by her children, son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jill Robinson Horsley of Whitesburg, daughter, Gina Lynn Dowdy of Bremen; daughter-in-law, Tracey Wingo Horsley of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Rachel Horsley of Whitesburg, Joseph and Pauletta R. Horsley of Sharpsburg, Justin Horsley of Temple, Jonathan and Mary Kathryn Horsley of Carrollton, Caleb and Erica D. Horsley of Carrollton, Rebecca Horsley of Carrollton, Joshua Horsley of Villa Rica, and Aaron Horsley of Whitesburg; three great grandchildren, Hannah, Noah and Atticus Horsley; sisters-in-law, Kathy Horsley and Flora Glenn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Cross Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Lester officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Horsley, Caleb Horsley, Aaron Horsley, Jonathan Horsley, Justin Horsley, and Josh Horsley.
