James Edward “Ed” Driver, age 80 of Whitesburg, passed away April 22, 2020. He was born June 22, 1939 in Whitesburg, Georgia, son of the late Jim T. Driver and Irma Crews Driver.
He was a 1958 Whitesburg High School graduate and proudly served in the United States Army between 1963 and 1965. He worked as a supervisor for Southwire for more than 38 ½ years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Dan Driver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Poore Driver of Whitesburg; son, Gerald Driver of Carrollton; daughter, Kathy McInnis of Whitesburg; sister-in-law, Kathryn Driver of Whitesburg; grandchildren, Brittany Driver of Whitesburg, Blake Driver of Carrollton, Kayanna Driver of Carrollton, Jacob McInnis of Whitesburg, and Toby Driver of Carrollton.
