Susan “Gail” Bearden, age 64 of Carrollton, passed away May 22, 2020. She was born December 12, 1955 in Newnan, Georgia, daughter to the late Jack Bass and Virginia Fields Bass.
She was a homemaker and an active member of Central Baptist Church.
In addition to Gail’s parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Matthew Douglas Bearden; and sister, Norma Jean Bishop.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Rev. Doug Bearden of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Katie B. and Buck Chandler, of Carrollton; son, Bruce Bearden of Bremen; sisters and brother-in-law, Tammy Bass and Doug Blackmon, and Ann Hand; daughters in love, Amy Bearden and Shannon Bearden; a number of grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 4:00 PM from Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Alex Bearden, Howard Stringfellow, Caleb Stringfellow, Devin Stringfellow, Ryan Agan, and Brian Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
