Leonard E. Pittman, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 25, 1936 to the late Sylvanus Pittman and the late Gladys Yancy Pittman. Leonard was a retired farmer and production worker. He was a member of Prays Mills Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Douglas Leonard Pittman (Jennifer), Steven Eugene Pittman, Deborah Suzanne Rickman; grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Crystal, Matt, Zachary, Mary Lee, Jacob and Bethany; great-grandchildren, Addison, Elyssa, Robbie, Makayla, Linnea; great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Rhett, and Carter; sisters, Peggy, Charlotte, Betty Jo; brothers, Larry, Jerry, Donnie, Archie; caretakers, Sharon Blackshears, Michelle Gill, Heather Bani.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was also preceded in death by his sister Judy and brothers, Randy and James.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.

The funeral service will be held at Prays Mill Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
