Lois Jackson, age 80, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.  She was born July 7, 1943, in Dallas, Georgia, the daughter of the late Price Edward Ford and the late Florida Ella Abernathy Ford.

Mrs. Lois worked as a waitress until her retirement and was a longtime and faithful New Hope United Methodist Church member.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Russell Jackson; children, Kerry Lee Jackson, Willis Russell Jackson (Crystal G.), Debbie Jackson Hensley (Dale), Gary Jackson, Windy Jackson Smith (John S. Smith Jr.); brother, Gene Ford; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Clark officiating.  Internment will follow in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM.
