It is with great sadness in our hearts that we share, that on October 12, 2023, Junior Huddleston joined the love of his life and his late wife, Hazel Huddleston, in eternity. Junior passed while in the comfort of his family, whom he loved and who loved him dearly.
Junior Huddleston was born June 19, 1939, in Randolph, Alabama, to the late Eula Webb. Junior was a jack-of-all-trades and, in his free time, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching University of Georgia football games and Atlanta Braves baseball with his wife. Junior was a friendly man who never had a shortage of stories to tell, jokes to crack, and random facts to give. He could have a whole room laughing in minutes with his charismatic ways.
In addition to his mother and loving wife, Junior was preceded in death by his son, Sammy Huddleston; his sister, Polly Henson; and his brother, Tommy Webb.
He leaves behind to cherish his stories and memories his son, Mark Huddleston Sr. (Christy); his grandchildren, Steven (Caty), Alexis, and Joshua; his great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jaxton, and Knox; and his sisters, Earlene Otto, Peggy Bradshaw, Meddlene Bartley; and Patsy Strange.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Bro. J.W. Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
Messages of condolences can be sent to the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
