Ruby Carol Henry Norton Seals, age 89, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023.  She was born December 30, 1933, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Andrew Clarence Henry and Ruby Estelle Vandiver Henry.

Mrs. Carol owned and operated Norton Cloth Shop and Norton Grocery. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and worked to serve him all her life. She was a Way of Life Church member in Ranburne, Alabama. Mrs. Carol was a loving mother, loyal sister, and doting grandmother who will be genuinely missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Myrel M. Norton and Guy Seals; son, Marvis Norton; step-sons, Kenny Seals and Tommy Seals; sisters, Jane Garland and Bobbie Carroll; brother, Carlton Henry; and brothers-in-law, Peck Carroll, Johnny Amandolia, and Grover Tatum.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons & daughters-in-law, Keith ”Buck” Norton, Terry & Sherrie Norton, and Melanie Norton; sisters, Lorene Amandolia and Mayris Tatum; brother & sister-in-law, Tony & Faye Henry; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Waymon Landmon officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Albert Morris, Jake Norton, Drew Norton, Scotty Seals, Matt Cook, Jimmy “BeBo” Thompson, Kay “Garbo” Thompson, Danny Ballentine, Alan Johnson, and Andy Amandolia.
